Help us clean up trash and lop back blackberry bushes in the Hayfork Community Wetlands! This area used to be covered in mining tailings but was rehabilitated into a functional semi-aquatic habitat open to the public. We need your help maintaining its pristine beauty.
We will meet at the corner of Bridge Road and Oak Avenue at 9:00am. Participants must bring plenty of food, water, sunscreen, and wear sturdy boots and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. We will provide gloves, trash pickers, and loppers. Volunteers are eligible for a beer token or ice cream coupon as age-appropriate. Thank you for your service in keeping our beautiful outdoor spaces clean and healthy. We’ll see you out there!
