Regional Forest and Fire Capacity Equitable Workforce Development Request for Proposals
The Watershed Research and Training Center’s Regional Forest and Fire Capacity Program’s Equitable Workforce Development Initiative is releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for instructors to join our cadre to instruct two of our proprietary courses: “Career Pathways in Wildfire Resilience” and “Navigating Barriers to Employment.”
We are conducting these trainings as part of our Regional Forest and Fire Capacity Program’s Equitable Workforce Development Initiative. This effort seeks to increase diversity in the wildfire resilience workforce by providing professional development and training opportunities to priority populations.
We are seeking instructors to work as contractors and/or employees depending on eligibility and final work arrangements. We will work with selected RFP respondents to determine the best structure for the work. Proposals are due Monday, August 18th.
