Emily Troisi - Fire Adapted Communities Network Director
Emily acts as a liaison to several FAC Net members, serves as a state network advisor, and supports the staff running member and practitioner learning, training, and capacity-building services. She serves as logistics lead for in-person FAC Net workshops and has led a number of special projects for the network, including developing the FAC graphic and facilitation guide. On a typical Wednesday, you can find Emily in virtual meetings with network members across the country, strategizing network functions, and thinking up creative facilitation and agenda design concepts. Her favorite thing about working for a network of community wildfire practitioners is the creativity and passion that the people in the network bring to their work. Emily lives in Boulder, Colorado, and has worked remotely for the Watershed Center as FAC Net staff since October 2014. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with her B.S. in Environmental Conservation Studies and M.S. in Human Dimensions in Natural Resources Management. Emily has a passion for community involvement in emergency management and works part-time at her local Office of Disaster Management. She also loves to rock climb, garden, do pottery, and spend quality time with her dog.
