David Burchfield - Fire adapted communities learning network Member services associate
David works with the Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network to support network members through facilitating trainings and learning opportunities, connecting and strengthening our network, and working on special projects including the CWPP toolkit, DEIJ initiatives, and the HEPA filters project. Prior to coming to FAC-net, David was an academic partner in the network's early days, documenting its work and connecting with early participants. In more recent years he has worked as a classroom teacher, honing his skills in learning and development and facilitation. David holds a MS from the University of Colorado - Boulder in Environmental Studies and degrees in Environmental Studies, Geography, and International Studies from the University of Kansas. Outside of FAC-net, David works semi-professionally as a folk-rock musician/songwriter and enjoys almost all the rest of his free time trail running or dancing to house music.
