The Bigfoot Trail Alliance (BFTA), College of the Redwoods Forestry and Natural Resources Department, and Watershed Center are organizing a weekend of camping at Philpot Campground for high school and college students. Camping is optional, but this weekend will include a day of volunteer trail maintenance on Tule Creek Trail and an evening of career development in the form of presentations from Watershed Center, College of the Redwoods, and BFTA employees and representatives. Students will be welcome to learn about various jobs in the natural resource management sector, as well as build real-world skills in trail-building, networking, and stewardship. Bigfoot Trail Alliance is providing dinner both nights, on Friday April 21st and Saturday April 22nd. Come brave the spring weather and join us for a weekend of fun, skill building, and service!
