2025 Annual Plant and Seed Exchange

The Watershed Center is pleased to participate in the 16th Annual Plant and Seed Exchange this Saturday, April 12th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Young Family Ranch (260 Oregon Street, Weaverville, CA).

This is the 16th Annual Plant and Seed Exchange hosted by the Trinity County Resource Conservation District in partnership with the UC Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program and Young Family Ranch Trust.

Enjoy activities for all ages, including:

  • Community Plant & Seed Exchange: Bring your extra plant starts, bulbs (disease- and pest-free, please!), and seeds to share.

  • Children's Activities: Fun and engaging activities designed to inspire young gardeners and nature enthusiasts.

  • Expert Gardening Talks: Learn from local specialists about growing and caring for plants in Trinity County.

  • Local Eats & Refreshments: Savor organic food and drinks from The Mountain Market.

  • Live Music: Enjoy a performance by Rainy Day Picnic from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

  • 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM: "Supporting Pollinators in Our Backyard & Beyond" with the TCRCD Botany Team

  • 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM: "Spring & Summer Fruit Tree Care" with Scott White

  • 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: "Native Plant Nursery Tour" with the TCRCD Botany Team
